How Coipe looks after children's and grown-ups' information.

Placeholder text, not yet an agreement. Last changed .

What we collect

Placeholder. For students: a display name the teacher chooses, an avatar, and what happens while they play. No email, no photo, no birth date. For teachers: name, email address and the classes they teach.

Why we collect it

Placeholder. Only so children can play and teachers can see each child's learning curve. Never for advertising, analytics or tracking.

During a live lesson

While a teacher runs a lesson, the teacher's screen shows a quiet note when a child's Coipe tab is in the background, or when nobody has touched it for two minutes. To do that, Coipe checks only whether its own tab is visible and whether a key or the mouse was used on it, not which one. It never reads other tabs or websites, never records the screen, and never uses the camera or microphone. Only the latest state is kept, for that lesson, and it is not part of the child's learning record; the note that it changed is deleted within two days.

Where it is kept

Placeholder. On servers Coipe runs in Vietnam, with encrypted disks and backups.

How long we keep it

Placeholder. Retention periods are set by the owner and written here.

Your choices

Placeholder. How a school or a parent asks to see, correct or delete a child's information, and whom to contact.
